Vision of the Team
The Broadcast Team exists for one clear purpose: creating an engaging Church Online experience that connects people to Jesus and one another. From the cameras in the room to the people serving behind the scenes, every part of Broadcast helps carry what's happening at The Local Church beyond the walls of the auditorium. Our goal is to help someone watching from overflow, from home, or from somewhere far away still feel connected to what God is doing. Every camera angle matters. Every cue matters. Every online interaction matters. Because every person watching matters.
The Impact
Broadcast helps bring the message of Jesus to people near and far. People are watching Church Online from home, joining from other cities, sitting in overflow, and sometimes experiencing The Local Church for the very first time through a screen. We've seen Broadcast help people:
If we don't see Broadcast, we feel the difference. This team helps make the service feel intimate, engaging, and connected no matter where someone is watching from.
Find Your Place
The Broadcast Team is made up of different roles working together toward one purpose. There are opportunities to serve as:
Camera Ops help capture what's happening throughout the service. Broadcast Producers help bring the service together visually, direct the team, and make real-time decisions behind the scenes. Church Online Hosts help people feel welcomed, connected, and prayed for even when they aren't attending in person. No experience? No problem. We train everyone.
Your Next Step
Serving on Broadcast is more than working behind a camera or screen. It's an opportunity to build relationships, learn new skills, challenge your creativity, and help bring what God is doing in the room to people near and far. You get to capture hope, praise, surrender, and joy while serving alongside Familia. If you enjoy technology, creativity, storytelling, or a fast-paced environment, we'd love to get you connected. Maybe this is your next step.
